Daddy Daughter Date Night!
Tonight Dan took Courtney on a much anticipated "Date Night"! She planned the date, picked out the perfect dress, and picked out Dan's outfit too! She was SOOOOOOOO excited!
They went to dinner at Olive Garden, brought home cookie dough and made cookies to take to Taylor Davis, and then joined McKenna and her friends for some ping pong to finish off their special night...

It Looks Like a Store!
After many years of talking about it... we FINALLY got serious and organized our closet! We thought it would be a one day project... not so much! Three days later we finally finished! Last night Jennifer came by and Courtney just had to show her our "new closet". Jennifer's comment was exactly what Courtney had been saying for days..."It looks like a store!"
I think laundry might even be more fun now... maybe...

Christmas 2010
We had a wonderful holiday season this year! On Christmas Eve we invited a friend (and neighbor) to bring her son over to spend the evening with us. McKenna and Courtney hanging out while we finished getting dinner ready...
I realized I didn't take any pictures of our decorations this year... here are a few shots...
One of the things I love most about Christmas is the way our home looks and feels with all of the Christmas lights everywhere...
My beautiful girls...
Caryn, Tyler, and Courtney as we began our meal...
Dan and Kenna...
After dinner we headed downstairs for the rest of our fun... Courtney helped Tyler act out the Christmas Story while Dan read it from the scriptures...
Dan reading to us...

Caryn and Tyler in their new "Christmas Jammies"...
Dan, Kenna, Court, and me in our new "Christmas Jammies"...
After Caryn and Tyler headed home, and our girls headed off to bed, Santa made a visit... This is Kenna's stuff...
And Courtney's...
One of the things Courtney wanted the most was this American Girl camp chair and camp fire...
Mckenna with all of her fun gifts from Santa and family... Her favorite was the picture of Christ...
Saturday: Day 6: Headed Home!
We started the day with a little breakfast at IHOP...poor Mal wasn't feeling well, but she tried to hard to pretend! Love that girl!!!
Courtney was thrilled to have french toast on the way!
HILARIOUS!!!!!! This is the "National Cat Protection Society"... for real!!! On the sign it listed all of the "services" they offer cats, including... RETIREMENT PLANNING!!!!! Seriously?!
Even though the weather was cold and rainy, the girls really wanted to see the beach.
American Girl! Friday: Day 5
This was definitely a highlight of our trip! On Friday morning, Dan took McKenna and Mallory to the LA temple to do baptisms, and Rachel and I took Courtney and Camilla to the American Girl Store and Bistro. It was so much fun!!!! We had been to the one in Chicago, but Camilla had never been to American Girl. They loved it!
Everything was so cute! Here is a little shot of our table...
Disneyland: Thursday: Day 4
We are about to begin our last day at Disneyland...and it also happend to be the best! The weather was the best of the entire trip and the park wasn't as crowded as it had been the first two days. We were able to get on a ton of rides...and we were so busy I didn't take very many pictures today! We are ready for some fun...and the kids were excited to show off all of their fun stuff before we headed out the door!
This is on that big white boat... I can't remember what it is called!
Me and my girl...
Waiting for the parade to start...
Little miss hollywood!...
Disney is so good at this sort of thing...
Although Courtney and Camilla are "so over" the princesses, this was one of my favorites!
This shot is for Dawson!...
And here comes Santa Claus!
And this is the last shot of the day... I really debated even putting it on here! My hair is covering my face, but I am making just as terrified a face as Courtney is in this shot! Dan somehow talked us into going on the Tower of Terror. I hated every horrifying moment of it! Again, one of the funniest parts is the face Brian is making! He just always looks so happy and calm! Courtney actually said she liked this ride afterwards...she just didn't like the feeling of coming out of her seat! I don't EVER have to ride this one again!
