I remeber being in 8th grade and the really cute girls all had braces.... I wanted them SO bad! Now I can look back and laugh... because I didn't need braces... and they probably would have beat me over the head with their "toothbrush cases" if they had known how bad I wanted them! McKenna thinks I was insane for sure! Yesterday, December 30th, McKenna became one of those gorgeous girls! They kept telling her in the office yesterday that they couldn't believe how cute she looked in them! She is already drop dead gorgeous... and getting braces didn't change it! She looks even a little bit older... which doesn't thrill us as her parents... but as always she is being a trooper and although in pain, wouldn't act like it if we went to a party! She will only need them for about a year... and so the count down begins!

I wanted them too because everyone had them. I am sad though that she has to deal with the pain- I've heard it's not fun.

Wow, McKenna, you look so cute!! I know it will be uncomfortable (I have heard that from others that have worn them...)You will do what you have to, though, and the reward will be nice when you get them off! I am proud of you!
