King Family "Grandkid Movie Day"

The first Saturday in December has become the official "King Family Grandkid Movie Day." My parents started the tradition of taking all the grandkids to a Christmas movie... but becasue they were pretty little when the tradition started, they "made" us parents come along. Now we all still go... and we love it! This year we saw "The Gaurdians"...

 

 

We also brought a couple of extras with us this year... Camilla and Eli were going to be home alone because their grandma was in the hosptial and their mom was taking care of her... and their dad was working... so we included them in the fun! Mckenna, Courtney, Camilla, Eli, Karen, and Brent...

 This was also December 1st... which is the day for one of our favorite family traditions... "Dinner in the Dark". We turn off all the lights except the Christmas tree and candles on the table. The kids love it!
