Thursday: Sunrise Hike, Courage Course & Testimony Night

Our day began with the "Sunrise Hike". Dan came up Wednesday night just so he could be at camp for this... it was amazing as always. Jennifer Davis surprised all of us Stake leaders with letters from our moms. It was beautiful! Harvest Hills 7th Ward...our cute girls and leaders! It was totally worth getting up early!
Our cute missionary Brother Baker teaching the girls a thing or two about "yodeling"... the girls LOVED it!!!
Our cute ward camp director... Lorri Moore! She taught us what M & M 's really stand for!
Our cute girls helping with the activity! Mallory, Megan, and Brayleen from our ward...Julie Funk and Arnetta Hanzel from the Stake Committee...
Roasting swedish fish over a pretzel and marshmallow camp fire...
The "Courage Course"... Dan, Shane, and I were stationed at the "fire making" station. The girls had to build and start a fire and accumulated points based on how WELL they worked together, HOW they built their fire, IF they built their fire, and if it BURNED through the rope. 8th Ward rocked it! It was the warmest day at camp...but the girls loved it anyway!
Jennifer and I sure started something during skit night! The whole "Two thumbs up" was a hit! I believe this is the 2nd ward...
Some more cute girls... Got Courage?
The 5th Ward in their turquoise blue burned through their rope too...
This is one of my very favorite pictures from camp! Hilarious!!!! I'm not sure why they were wearing these on Testimony Night to flag ceremony...but they looked awesome! This is Kylee Jorgenson and Sophie Schmalz...two of the cutest girls ever!!!!
Cute Lynne and Ricky Benham...she is one of my favorite people ever! So happy! So cute!!
Shane and Jennifer...I'm gonna keep saying this...two of my favorite people!!!! (Or maybe I should be calling him "Pappa Davis"?
The 8th Ward Bishopric and wives...my personal favorites...Singing our ward song for flag ceremony...
Our beautiful girls and leaders... love you cutie pie heads!!!
Our wonderful new Stake High Councilman (over the young women) Brother Steve Wirthlin and his adorable wife! He surprised all of us with his mad jump rope skills!

How cute are they?! Kerri Robbins and her hubby! We were all so excited to have our sweethearts get to join us! Again...favorites! Isn't that the BEST hug ever?I hope they don't mind that I caught and shared this moment. This says it all! Allison "Skip" and Jennifer feeling the moment. So much hard work, so many months in "prep" for this week...and it was amazing! I didn't get Julie Funk in this one...but the three of them truly made camp a week that none of us will ever forget! We love all of you!!!!!!
Allison and her cute hubby... it was so great for him to get to see what all the hours she spends doing this every year create for the girls of our stake. We are so grateful to him as well for supporting her in this calling. She is AMAZING and is loved and respected by all of us! He is a sweetheart! It is easy to see why they found each other!!! The CUTEST!!!!!
Our 7th Ward testimony meeting. These are all of the leaders and girls gathered around our personal fire pit. It was a wonderful evening...and I love all of them so much!
They performed their song for us all again from skit night... really funny!
The experience of being at camp on the Stake Committee has been one that has changed me forever. It was such an honor...and I hope I did it justice! I loved Thursday beginning to end!
