Wednesday: Challenge Course, 4th Years Return, and SKIT NIGHT!

Wednesday the 4th years were returning from their overnight hike. Here we are lining up and waiting to cheer them in... Our hike specialist Keriann and a few of the girls...they had a blast!
Some more girls... tired and happy!
Keriann and her hubby. He came up to fill a "priesthood slot"...and to get to spend some time with her! They are really sweet!
I don't know why the next two pictures won't rotate! I tried but just couldn't get it to work! This is Allison showing us how it's done!
Shane took his turn...nice work!
SKIT NIGHT!... Here we are as a stake performing our song. I was in charge of Skit Night and decided on a different format this year. I assigned each ward a primary song and a standard from the strength of youth...they had to write their own song and perform it. It was so much fun... and to try something different.
Here is a copy of part of our song... it was hilarious! We had the song "I hope they call me on a mission" and the standard "dating".
This is 7th Ward performing their song..."Give said the little stream" and the standard of "music and dancing". They even got Dan to perform with them!
Some of the 4th Ward girls performing...
5th Ward doing their song and dance...
A shot of me enjoying the show...
Jennifer Davis helping me with the "judging" process... Awards to follow the show!
6th Ward ladies...
The Awards... Pop Corn and Treats...
"Good Evening! I'm Floyd" and "I'm Davis"... our impromptu awards event...
And this award goes to...
6th Ward received the "One Million Dollar" Award...
The cute 8th Ward girls got "Two thumbs up!"
It turned into a "group" photo shoot with each ward... It made it so much fun!!!!
The YCL's...adorable!
When the evening wrapped up... I presented letters to each of the Stake leaders from their spouses. It was a really fun surprise for everyone.
The end of another wonderful day... I can't wait for tomorrow!!! The sunrise hike comes early!
