Parker is 3 years old, and one of the cutest little guys you will ever meet! Dan left a few hours later than he had hoped...but once he had picked Parker up they headed for Kamas. A quick stop at the grocery store for some hot dogs and drinks... and they were on their way to the camp. They got their tent set up and got their dinner ready...

They roasted marshmallows and visited and then headed to bed. This morning they had a breakfast burrito and then headed out to fish at Mirror Lake. Parker was REALLY excited to go fishing...and of course Uncle Dan was more than happy to oblige!
They didn't catch any at Mirror Lake...but they sure had fun trying! Look at that view! If he hadn't just gotten home I would beg to go back up and hike around the lake...
After leaving, they headed back to Kamas to get some gas. They were visiting with the cashier and she told them about a "Trout Pond"...one where you could probably catch a fish with your hands! They headed over...how could Dan take Parker home without him catching a fish?!
Parker caught 2...but he wouldn't hold them for a picture!

They stopped for a happy meal at McDonald's and then Dan took him home. What a great adventure for both of them! I know Dan will be looking forward to taking him again next year!On a side note... this is hilarious! This is the "thank you" that Amy sent with Parker for Dan... so cute!!!!
This is referencing all of the great camping/hunting/fishing memories Dan made as a kid with his Uncle Marv...
His uncle gave him one of these on a trip...and he got so sick he thought he was going to die... he still can't eat them to this day! Very funny guys!
And thanks again... it meant the world to Dan to take Parker with him. He had a wonderful time!

I have to admit I'm going to be very careful what I post from now on now that I know my bishop's wife reads it! ha- kidding! :) I love that you are A.G. fans at your house, too. We are just hitting the craze here but it is SO fun! Also-- I thought this was so adorable when Ryan told me Bishop "borrowed" a son for the campout. Love that! What a lucky nephew!
